Responsibilities

- Lead the service department by coordinating daily operations, ensuring timely vehicle repairs, and maintaining high-quality standards.
- Supervise and motivate technicians and service advisors to deliver outstanding customer service and efficient workflow.
- Manage customer interactions from initial greeting to vehicle pickup, ensuring clear communication, transparency, and satisfaction.
- Oversee the sales process by identifying opportunities for upselling additional services or repairs that benefit the customer while increasing departmental revenue.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including invoicing, payments, and balancing registers at the end of each shift.
- Monitor inventory levels of parts and supplies,



placing orders as needed to support ongoing repair work.
- Maintain compliance with dealership policies, safety regulations, and industry standards while fostering a positive team environment focused on continuous improvement.

Skills

- Proven dealership experience with a strong understanding of automotive sales processes and service operations.
- Extensive mechanic experience combined with solid mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems and repairs.
- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly and professionally.
- Demonstrated ability to upsell services effectively while prioritizing customer needs and satisfaction.
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing a team of technicians and service staff in a fast-paced workplace.
- Proficiency in cash handling, invoicing, and basic financial transactions related to service department activities.
- Knowledge of automotive repair procedures, parts inventory management, and dealership software systems.

Pay: $25.50-$35.50 per hour
