Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Drywall Supervisor to oversee drywall installation and finishing on our construction projects. The successful candidate will lead site crews, coordinate daily activities, and ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise drywall installation and finishing, ensuring work meets project specifications and quality standards.
- Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and other site supervisors to maintain workflow and meet project schedules.
- Schedule daily activities, assign tasks, and monitor crew performance and progress.
- Inspect completed work, identify deficiencies, and oversee corrective work.
- Provide hands-on guidance, training, and mentorship to drywall installers and finishers.
- Coordinate material deliveries and maintain adequate supplies of materials, tools, and equipment.




- Ensure tools and equipment are used properly and maintained in good working condition.
- Enforce site safety requirements, conduct regular safety meetings, and promptly address hazards or concerns.
- Maintain accurate records of completed work, material usage, and employee attendance.
- Report project progress, challenges, and resource needs to management.

Skills & Qualifications

- 5+ of hands-on experience in drywall installation and finishing, including 1–3 years as a Drywall Supervisor.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong knowledge of drywall installation, finishing techniques, and quality standards.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, construction drawings, and project specifications.
- Proven leadership skills, with the ability to organize, train, and support site crews.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and time management skills.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality workmanship.
- Knowledge of construction site safety requirements and safe work practices.
- Ability to perform the physical duties of the role and work in varying site and weather conditions.
