Balmoral Hall School is seeking a dependable and hardworking General Labourer to support the day-to-day maintenance and operation of the school campus.

The successful candidate will assist with general maintenance, campus upkeep, room setups, moving equipment and supplies, grounds maintenance, and other facilities-related tasks. This is a hands-on position suited to someone who takes pride in maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming school workplace.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist with general maintenance and upkeep of school buildings and facilities
- Move furniture, equipment, supplies, and other materials throughout the campus
- Assist with classroom, event, and activity room setups and takedowns
- Perform basic repairs and general maintenance tasks as assigned
- Assist with outdoor grounds maintenance and seasonal activities
- Assist with snow removal and winter campus maintenance as required
- Receive, move, organize, and store supplies and materials
- Maintain work areas, storage spaces, and common areas in a clean and organized condition




- Support Facilities and Operations staff with day-to-day campus requirements
- Follow all applicable health, safety, and school procedures
- Perform other general labour and facilities-related duties as required

Qualifications

- Previous experience in general labour, maintenance, landscaping, construction, warehouse, or a related field is an asset
- Ability to perform physical work, including lifting, carrying, standing, and walking for extended periods
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Good attention to detail and a strong work ethic
- Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures
- Willingness to learn and take on a variety of responsibilities
- Comfortable working in both indoor and outdoor environments throughout the year
- Ability to work respectfully and professionally in a school environment

Pay: $22.34-$25.09 per hour
