Our Orillia Kia location is seeking an Experienced Lube Technician or Registered Automotive Service Technician Apprentice to join our service team. This opportunity is ideal for someone who takes pride in quality workmanship, works cooperatively with others and is committed to developing their automotive skills.
You will perform vehicle maintenance and support inspections and repairs appropriate to your qualifications and experience. Registered apprentices will work under the guidance of licensed technicians.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform oil changes and scheduled vehicle maintenance.
- Complete inspections and basic repairs within the scope of your training and qualifications.
- Assist with diagnosing mechanical and electrical concerns,
as appropriate to your experience and apprenticeship level.
- Complete work accurately, efficiently and within established timelines.
- Document work performed and maintain accurate service records.
- Maintain a clean, organized and safe work area.
- Follow dealership procedures, manufacturer standards and workplace health and safety requirements.
- Communicate clearly with technicians, service advisors and other team members.
Qualifications
- Previous professional experience as a Lube Technician or current registration as a 310S Automotive Service Technician Apprentice.
- A valid Ontario driver’s licence and a driving record suitable for operating customer and dealership vehicles, as driving is an essential duty of the role.
- Your own basic tools appropriate to the position and apprenticeship level.
- Strong attention to detail, organization and a commitment to safe, quality workmanship.
- Reliability, clear communication skills and the ability to work cooperatively in a busy service environment.
- A willingness to learn and participate in ongoing training.
- Kia or dealership experience is an asset, but is not required.
