ERP Purchaser
Salary: $60,000 - $80,000

Adamson Systems Engineering is a manufacturer of high-performance audio products located in beautiful Port Perry, Ontario. Virtually all products and components are made in-house in our state-of-the-art facility; from wooden enclosures, drivers and rigging components to sophisticated power amplifiers, immersive systems and digital technologies.

As an ERP Purchaser and an integral member of the ERP Production Team, you will support purchasing, inventory planning and material availability within a complex lean-manufacturing environment. You will be responsible for analyzing inventory requirements, maintaining purchasing priorities, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring materials are available to support production schedules.

Duties & Responsibilities

- Analyze inventory requirements, production forecasts and supplier lead times.
- Generate and maintain purchasing plans using the ERP/MRP system.
- Resolve material shortages quickly and effectively to support production requirements.
- Maintain and adjust ERP purchase order priorities to ensure smooth production flow.
- Negotiate pricing, lead times and delivery schedules with suppliers.
- Issue RFQs and support sourcing and costing reviews.
- Monitor raw material inventory levels and support inventory accuracy.
- Compare invoices against purchase orders,



shipping and receiving documents to verify receipt of items ordered and billing accuracy.
- Assist in cycle counts and inventory reconciliation activities.
- Assist in the development and continuous improvement of ERP purchasing and production processes.
- Communicate inventory risks and material constraints to Scheduling and Production teams.
- Perform related duties as required.

Minimum Requirements

- College or University degree/diploma in a related field.
- 2-5 years of purchasing, inventory control, planning or supply chain experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience with MRP (Material Requirements Planning) and ERP software.
- Experience negotiating supplier pricing, lead times and delivery schedules.
- Experience with ECI M1, SAP, MS Dynamics GP, NetSuite, Epicor, SAGE or other recognized ERP systems.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office skills.
- Experience working in a Lean Manufacturing environment is considered an asset.
- Solid analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
