Responsibilities
- Assist with food preparation and cooking to support the dietary team in delivering quality meals.
- Serve meals to residents in accordance with dietary guidelines and safety standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen and dining areas, including proper food handling and storage procedures.
- Follow food safety protocols to ensure all meals are prepared in a hygienic environment.
- Support meal delivery, set-up, and clean-up to ensure efficient dining operations.
- Help with inventory management by organizing supplies and notifying staff of stock needs.
- Adhere to all health regulations and company policies related to food handling and sanitation.
Experience
- Previous experience in assisted living, nursing home, hospital, or food industry environments is preferred.
- Knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food service operations is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures.
- Strong time management skills to efficiently support meal schedules and kitchen routines.
- Excellent customer service skills with a caring attitude towards residents and team members.
- Experience working in fast-paced settings such as kitchens or food service environments is advantageous.

Pay: $18.00-$24.00 per hour
