Prestige Outdoor Services is hiring an Apprentice Outdoor Service Technician (Snow Focus, Holiday Lights, ) in Calgary and the surrounding area. This is a paid training position with a clear career path and opportunities to grow into year-round work.
This position is an entry level career position focusing on our Winter Outdoor Services. If you do well in the winter we will move you into Spring training for our Outdoor Services Apprenticeship. During the winter we offer an on-call retainer as as well as a working rate. We give you predictability in your winter pay so you can live through the cold season.

Career Path & Growth Opportunities
This role will focus on:
- Snow clearing (pedestrian walkways and driveways by hand and equipment)
- Holiday Light setup and takedown of temporary lights.
- Assist with commercial irrigation service and repairs
- Learn irrigation system components (controllers, valves, heads, wiring)
- Perform clean pipe and sprinkler head repairs
- Restore landscapes after irrigation repairs
- Use tools and equipment safely and correctly
- Accurately track time, materials, and completed work
Pay & Benefits
- Competitive apprentice pay: $22.00–$26.00 per hour (based on experience and progression)
- Raises based on skill development and performance

Requirements
- Valid driver’s license with an insurable driving record
- Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Ability to lift, dig, kneel, and perform physical work
- Willingness to learn documentation, safety procedures, and best practices
