Duties

- Perform comprehensive inspections and diagnostics on trucks, heavy machinery, and industrial equipment using schematics and technical manuals
- Conduct repairs and maintenance on vehicles and equipment such as excavators, cranes, forklifts, and farm machinery
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other specialized tools to execute repairs efficiently
- Operate heavy equipment safely during troubleshooting or repair processes when necessary
- Follow safety protocols and maintain detailed records of all maintenance activities and repairs performed
- Read and interpret schematics, electrical diagrams,



and mechanical drawings to identify issues accurately
- Assist in assembly or disassembly of components during repair or upgrade projects while adhering to safety standards

Qualifications

- Proven dealership or heavy equipment maintenance experience with a robust mechanical background
- Hands-on experience with excavators, cranes, forklifts, or other industrial machinery preferred
- Knowledge of Caterpillar or similar heavy equipment brands is advantageous
- Skilled in welding, electrical troubleshooting, and using hand tools or power tools effectively
- Ability to lift heavy components safely during maintenance tasks; heavy lifting is a regular part of the role
- Familiarity with schematics, mechanical drawings, and electrical diagrams for diagnostics
- Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with team members and clients when needed

Pay: $29.62-$46.00 per hour
