Systems Testing / QA Specialist - Senior

Responsibilities

- Develop and execute test strategies, test plans, test cases, and test scripts for complex business-critical systems.

- Perform functional, integration, system, regression, user acceptance, and data reconciliation testing.

- Identify, document, track, and validate defects through resolution.

- Develop and maintain automated tests and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines where applicable.

- Conduct data integrity, migration, conversion, performance, load, and accessibility testing.

- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, project managers, and business stakeholders to resolve issues and validate requirements.

- Maintain test documentation, test coverage reports, quality metrics, and test data strategies.

- Ensure testing activities follow established quality standards, accessibility requirements, and data privacy practices.

Experience and Skill Set Requirements

QA Skills

- Minimum 7 years of experience in software quality assurance and systems testing.

- Minimum 5 years of experience testing large, complex, business-critical applications.

- Demonstrated experience developing test strategies, test plans, test cases, test scripts, and expected results.

- Proven experience with data analysis, data cleansing, conversion, reconciliation, and validation.

- Experience coordinating multiple testing activities under tight deadlines and competing priorities.





- Demonstrated experience performing accessibility testing against WCAG 2.0 AA standards.

Technical Skills

- Minimum 5 years of experience testing web-based, multi-tier applications and business workflow solutions.

- Hands-on experience with testing and defect management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Bugzilla, or Micro Focus.

- Experience with Oracle databases, SQL queries, and backend data validation.

- Demonstrated experience testing custom-developed and commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) applications.

- Experience with automated testing tools such as Selenium, UFT, or Cypress; API testing tools such as Postman; and performance testing tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner, where applicable.

- Experience with accessibility testing tools such as WAVE, JAWS, or NVDA.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and test documentation tools.

General Skills

- Demonstrated ability to coordinate testing across multiple business and technical teams.
- Solid analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and decision-making skills.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including defect reporting and stakeholder presentations.

- Experience working within Agile/Scrum and Waterfall development environments.

Large-Scale Organizational Experience

- Experience testing complex applications involving multiple systems, business rules, databases, and stakeholder groups.
