Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled 310T Shop Mechanic to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting a variety of heavy-duty equipment and machinery. Your expertise will ensure our fleet operates safely and efficiently, supporting our commitment to reliable transportation services.

Responsibilities

- Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on heavy equipment including excavators, cranes, forklifts, and farm machinery
- Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and schematics to diagnose and resolve mechanical issues
- Conduct heavy lifting and assembly tasks safely using appropriate industrial equipment
- Troubleshoot electrical systems and mechanical components to identify root causes of malfunctions




- Maintain detailed service records and follow safety protocols during all repair activities
- Assist with the operation of heavy machinery when necessary to support repair or maintenance tasks
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of repairs and uphold quality standards

Experience

- Proven mechanic experience with heavy equipment such as excavators, cranes, forklifts, or similar industrial machinery
- Dealership experience is highly preferred, especially with Caterpillar or other major brands
- Strong mechanical knowledge across automotive repair, electrical systems, welding, and HVAC systems
- Familiarity with schematics, electrical diagrams, and heavy equipment operation manuals
- Experience working with hand tools, power tools, and performing heavy lifting tasks safely
- Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with team members and clients when needed
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced workplace while maintaining safety standards

Pay: $23.40-$48.05 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 – 60.0 per week
