StarForce HR is recruiting an experienced Forklift Operator on behalf of our client in Mississauga.

In this role, you will operate Raymond Reach and Walkie equipment to move, load, unload, and store ingredients, packaging materials, and finished products. You will support shipping, receiving, and production operations in a fast-paced environment that includes working in freezer areas at approximately −18°C.

We are looking for a dependable, safety-conscious individual with a valid forklift licence and at least three years of experience operating both Raymond Reach and Walkie equipment. Candidates must be available for daytime training from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. before transitioning to the regular night shift.

Responsibilities

- Safely operate Raymond Reach and Walkie equipment to load, unload, transport, and store products.
- Move inventory between receiving, freezer storage, production, and shipping areas.
- Receive and inspect incoming shipments, verify weights and quantities, and record inventory accurately.
- Identify and report damaged products, shortages, and shipment discrepancies.
- Wrap, label, and place products in designated storage locations.
- Supply production areas with ingredients and packaging materials as required.
- Assist with bulk unloading, bag dumping, and product transfers when needed.
- Complete equipment safety checks and promptly report equipment issues or workplace hazards.
- Maintain clean, organized work areas and follow food safety and workplace safety procedures.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned.

Requirements





- At least three years of warehouse experience, including at least three years operating Raymond Reach and Walkie equipment.
- A valid forklift operator licence.
- Ability to work in a cold environment, including freezer areas at approximately −18°C.
- Availability for training from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
- Availability for the regular night shift from 5:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m., including occasional weekends and holidays.
- Robust attention to detail and effective communication skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse and manufacturing environment.
- A commitment to safe equipment operation, cleanliness, and food safety.
