Korean-Speaking Assistant Manager - Senior Living - Surrey, BC

Salary: $75,000-$85,000 per year

About the Role

Surrey based senior living community is looking for a Korean-speaking hospitality or operations professional to join the management team. You’ll be the main person who connects residents, families, and staff, while helping run a community. If you’ve built your career in hotels, events or guest service and want work with more meaning, this is a strong next step.

What You’ll Do

- Support the management team with daily operations, resident services, and overall community performance
- Be the key communication link between Korean-speaking residents and families, staff, and management, including translation where needed
- Train, schedule, and coach staff, and help build a supportive, high-standard service culture
- Welcome prospective residents and families, give community tours, and help represent us at events and in the Korean community
- Handle resident, family, and staff concerns with care and professionalism
- Coordinate resident events and activities
- Oversee administrative tasks such as scheduling, purchasing, supplies, and overtime
- Follow up on incidents and help keep the community running smoothly and in compliance with policies

What You Bring





- Fluent Korean and English (spoken and written). This is essential.
- Experience in hospitality, hotel, event, guest service, senior living, or healthcare settings
- Experience leading, training, or scheduling a team
- A post-secondary diploma or degree in any field, or equivalent experience
- Strong communication and conflict-resolution skills
- A warm, service-minded, resident-focused approach
- Comfort with administrative work (scheduling, budgets, purchasing, billing)
