We are looking for a Carpenter Helper to join our team and assist our skilled carpenters in completing projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for helping with the preparation of materials, assisting with the construction of structures, and providing general support to the carpenters. The ideal candidate will have a robust work ethic, an eye for detail, and a commitment to safety.
Responsibilities:
- Assist carpenters in constructing, erecting, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures of wood, plywood, and wallboard.
- Measure and mark cutting lines on materials using a ruler, pencil, chalk, and marking gauge.
- Help carpenters by holding or passing tools.
- Load and unload materials onto or from trucks.
- Clean up work areas, machines, and tools.
- Follow safety rules and regulations.
