Twin-City Interloc has been a trusted leader in commercial landscape construction and winter maintenance for over 39 years in the Kitchener-Waterloo region. We are currently looking for Seasonal Snow Removal Operators & Labourers for the upcoming winter season with the option for year-round employment in landscape construction for the right candidates.
- Operate plow trucks to safely and efficiently clear snow.
- Push and pile snow in designated areas or assist with snow relocation as required.
Salt Truck Operators -
- Operate salt trucks and spreading equipment to apply de-icing materials (e.g., salt, sand, brine).
- Monitor site conditions and apply materials according to weather conditions, site requirements and supervisor instructions.
Skid Steer / Loader Operators -
- Operate skid steers / loaders and appropriate attachments to explicit snow.
- Push, pile and relocate snow safely within designated areas.
- Assist with snow loading and removal when required.
Sidewalk Labourers -
- Manually clear snow from sidewalks, entrances, steps and curbs.
- Apply de-icing materials to pedestrian walkways and entrances as required.
- Operate walk-behind snow blowers and use shovels or other hand tools to maintain safe pedestrian access.
General Responsibilities:
- Inspect assigned equipment, vehicles and tools before use, reporting any defects or maintenance needs to the supervisor.
- Maintain accurate and legible records, including time logs, run sheets, salt usage, and incident reports.
- Follow site-specific procedures and contract requirements, including designated snow storage locations and safe work practices.
- Communicate with dispatch, supervisors and crew members to coordinate operations and maintain accurate work records.
- Clean, refuel and maintain assigned equipment at the end of each shift, and perform other duties as assigned
- Follow all company health and safety policies, including proper PPE use and awareness of pedestrians and vehicles.
What We Offer:
- Competitive wages $20.00 - $34.00/hr
- End of winter season bonus ($3.00/hr) available

What You Bring:
- G class license with clean driving record
- Ability to work extended hours
- 24/7 on-call availability during the winter season including holiday's
- Previous snow removal experience an asset
