Experience and Specialization

- Minimum 2 years of experience required with Large Household Appliances and Refrigeration

Certificates

- Gas Fitter Certificate- Level 2 or B
- Ozone Depletion Prevention Certificate
- Refrigeration

Security and Safety

- Must have valid G license and clean drivers abstract. Candidates will be driving company vehicles.
- Must provide Criminal Record Check. Candidates will be performing appliance repairs at clients homes.

Job Duties

We are looking for a skilled, reliable, and safety-focused Appliance Service Technician to join our service team. You will be responsible for diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining a variety of residential appliances, including refrigeration appliances. Must be proficient with handling freon and brazing diagnostic and repair.

Key Responsibilities

- Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults in major household appliances
- Perform service, maintenance, and installation on gas-fired appliances (cooktops,ranges,dryers)



in compliance with TSSA codes.
- Handle sealed-system refrigeration repairs safely and accurately.
- Provide clear, transparent repair options and pricing estimates to customers.
- Complete proper testing of all units post-repair to confirm secure and optimal operation.

Qualifications & Licenses

- Gas License: Valid Ontario TSSA G2 or G1 gas technician license
- Refrigeration: Experience or certification in diagnostics and repair refrigeration, including freon sealed systems, refrigerate & freon charging, leak detection & repair , compressor failure, brazing, using vacuum pump
- Experience: Minimum 3+ years of hands-on appliance repair experience.
- Driver’s License: Valid Ontario G driver's license with a clean abstract.
- Must be legally allowed to work in Canada

Compensation: $24-$28 per hour depending on experience

- Assemble and install refrigeration or air conditioning components.
