Registered Dental Assistant (RDA)

About the Opportunity:

We are seeking an experienced, friendly, and motivated Registered Dental Assistant to join a dental team in Okotoks, Alberta. The ideal candidate is confident in their clinical skills, enjoys working with patients of all ages, and is passionate about providing high-quality patient care in a supportive dental environment.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced RDA looking for a full-time position with competitive compensation, dental benefits, and potential additional incentives.

Responsibilities:

- Assist the dentist during a variety of dental procedures.
- Provide excellent patient care and help patients feel comfortable throughout their appointments.
- Support pediatric patients with a friendly, patient-centered approach.
- Prepare and maintain treatment rooms, instruments, and equipment.
- Follow infection prevention and control protocols and applicable dental regulations.
- Assist with sterilization, chairside procedures, and daily clinical operations.
- Maintain accurate patient records and support efficient appointment flow.
- Work collaboratively with the dental team to ensure a positive patient experience.

Qualifications:

- Registered Dental Assistant certification and eligibility to practise in Alberta.
- Ideally,



7–10+ years of dental assisting experience.
- Previous experience working with pediatric patients is required.
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- A professional, dependable, and patient-focused approach.
- Orthodontic, Preventative, and Prosthodontic Modules are considered assets but are not mandatory.

Compensation and Benefits:

- Competitive hourly rate based on experience and qualifications.

- Full-time, weekday schedule.

Work Schedule:

The successful candidate will work Monday to Friday according to the following schedule:

- Monday: 12:00 PM – 8:30 PM
- Tuesday: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
- Wednesday: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- Thursday: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
- Friday: 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM

Candidates must be available to work the scheduled hours listed above.
