About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Interior Quality Control Supervisor with a strong background in residential construction, interior finishing, and deficiency management.

This role is suited to someone with a strong eye for detail who can confidently oversee quality on site, coordinate trades and deficiency teams, identify issues, and ensure outstanding work is followed through to completion.

You’ll work closely with site teams, trades, project management, and Metatribe’s operations team to help keep quality, priorities, and project timelines on track.

Responsibilities

- Conduct site inspections and quality control reviews throughout the finishing stages of construction
- Identify, document, track, and follow up on deficiencies through completion
- Coordinate trades and deficiency teams to keep outstanding work moving
- Monitor workmanship and completed work for quality and consistency
- Communicate priorities, expectations, and deadlines clearly with trades and site teams
- Maintain accurate deficiency lists, site records, and progress reports




- Monitor outstanding items and flag issues that may impact quality or schedule
- Support project completion, turnover, and close-out activities
- Work closely with site supervision and project management to resolve quality issues
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment and follow site and WorkSafeBC requirements
- Assist with other site coordination and quality-related responsibilities as required

Qualifications

- Experience in residential construction, quality control, deficiency management, site supervision, or a related role
- Strong understanding of interior finishing and construction quality standards
- Experience coordinating trades and following work through to completion
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify workmanship and quality issues
- Strong organization, time management, and follow-through
- Confident and professional communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced construction environment
- Comfortable using digital reporting, deficiency tracking, and construction management platforms
- Practical, solutions-focused approach to resolving site issues
- Commitment to construction safety and WorkSafeBC requirements

Wage: $30–$38 per hour, based on experience and qualifications
