Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and reliable Farm Machinery Operator to join our team on Denman Island. This is a year-round position offering reliable, long-term employment.

Hours of Work & Weather Policy:

- 30 to 50 hours per week (Flexible schedule).

- Please note: Actual hours are weather-dependent. Work hours may be reduced or adjusted during periods of severe weather.

Accommodation Notice:

- NO accommodation is provided.

- Strong preference will be given to local residents currently living on Denman Island, or those who can reliably arrange their own daily commute without housing assistance.

Key Responsibilities:

- Safely and proficiently operate agricultural Tractors and Mini Excavators.

- Perform land preparation, trenching, clearing, and material hauling around the farm.

- Assist with vineyard operations, including mechanized vineyard work, vine management, and general maintenance.

- Conduct daily inspections and routine maintenance of equipment.





Qualifications & Requirements:

- Proven experience operating tractors and mini excavators.

- Prior experience working in a Vineyard is highly preferred.

- Basic mechanical skills for equipment maintenance are a strong asset.

- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.

- Valid driver’s license and basic English communication skills.
