Are you a skilled professional with a passion for pumps and a knack for exceeding customer expectations? A leading pump distributor based in the Canadian Prairies is looking for a Service Shop Supervisor / Scheduler to join our team.

About the Role:
In this dynamic position, you will oversee service shop operations, assist in the training of junior technicians, schedule tasks based on customer demands, and lead a team to deliver outstanding results. Your expertise will ensure that every customer interaction reflects our commitment to excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

- Work with the Service Manager to plan and develop procedures for the service department.
- Schedule and assure assembly performance of all new equipment and related components.
- Work closely with the sales department to assure all required components are ordered.
- Estimate and repair all customer equipment and components.
- Order and record all components and shop supplies required for service orders.
- Assure that all work orders are completed and that labour and components are properly recorded.
- Assure that all workings of the service department are performed as promised at the highest quality.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Perform building maintenance as required.
- Maintain up-to-date technical training.
- Maintain a high degree of integrity, loyalty, and honesty.
- Take initiative to solve problems creatively and drive business growth.
- Ensure projects are completed with attention to detail and exceeding customer expectations.
- Travel as needed to support customer and business requirements.
- Act as a mentor to the team, fostering professional development and a culture of excellence.
- Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

- Must maintain a valid driver’s license.
- Must be available to travel on short notice.
- Must maintain personal safety protection equipment.

What We’re Looking For:

- Pump repair experience: Millwright Red Seal preferred.
- Mechanical expertise: 5 years or more preferred.
- Proficiency with computers, including Office 365 and ERP systems.
- Solid customer service and communication skills (fluent in English, written and spoken).
- Detail-oriented with excellent time management and multitasking capabilities.
- Intrinsically motivated with a solid work ethic and openness to change.
- Willingness to take initiative, learn, and grow professionally.
- Basic business understanding and a creative problem-solver mindset.
- Experience in machining and/or welding is an asset.
- Valid driver’s license required.
- A team player with a positive “halves-full” mindset.

Pay: $60,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
