We’re Hiring — Heavy Truck & Equipment Technicians and Apprentices

Wage: $20–$64 per hour, based on experience and qualifications

N.C. Mechanical is growing and moving into our brand-new 7-bay shop & updated service truck! We’re looking for skilled Heavy Truck/Equipment Technicians, apprentices, and contractors to join our team.

Work on a diverse range of on-road and off-road equipment, with flexible shifts and opportunities in both the shop and field.

Looking for motivated individuals who would like to start or continue to learn what the industry has to offer through one-on-one mentorship with our qualified journeymen.

Responsibilities

- Inspect, diagnose, maintain, heavy equipment, heavy trucks, trailers.
- Assemble and install equipment components and verify proper operation.
- Troubleshoot electrical systems using schematics.
- Provide qualified customer service and address client concerns.
- Safely perform physical duties, including heavy lifting.

Qualifications

- Previous experience in heavy truck or equipment maintenance.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and familiarity with electrical systems and schematics.




- Ability to meet the physical demands of the job.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Valid Class 5 driver’s licence required.
- Journeyman ticket or trade certificate preferred.
- Safety tickets not required but considered an asset.
