Job Overview

Our employer partner is seeking experienced, enthusiastic, and customer-focused Waiters / Servers for hospitality assignments across the Greater Toronto Area and Durham Region.

Successful candidates will provide professional food and beverage service while ensuring an exceptional guest experience. Opportunities may be available in restaurants, hotels, banquet halls, convention centres, clubs, and event venues.

The ideal candidate possesses strong communication skills, a positive attitude,



and the ability to deliver excellent customer service in fast-paced hospitality environments.

Key Responsibilities

- Welcome and greet guests in a friendly, courteous, and professional manner.
- Accurately take food and beverage orders and communicate them to kitchen and bar staff.
- Serve food and beverages according to established service standards.
- Set up, maintain, clear, and reset dining tables.
- Respond promptly to guest requests, questions, and concerns.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas and service stations.
- Assist with banquet, buffet, catering, and event service.
- Follow established food safety, sanitation, and workplace health and safety procedures.
- Process customer payments accurately using point-of-sale (POS) systems when required.
- Collaborate with kitchen and front-of-house teams to ensure efficient service.
- Complete opening, closing, and side duties as assigned.

Requirements and Qualifications

- 6 months to 2 years of previous serving experience.
- Previous serving experience is required.
- Experience in restaurants, hotels, banquet halls, clubs, convention centres, or catering and event venues is preferred.
- Excellent customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills.




- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
- Professional appearance, positive attitude, and robust work ethic.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and carry serving trays.
- Good English communication skills.
- Flexible availability for weekdays, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- High school diploma or equivalent is an asset.
- Smart Serve Certification is an asset or may be required depending on the assignment.
- Food Handler Certification is an asset.

Compensation and Opportunities

- Hourly pay: $18.00–$20.00, based on experience.

Work Location and Application Details

Work Location: Various hospitality locations across the GTA and Durham Region, Ontario. Specific assignments and locations to be confirmed.
