Valleyview Gardens is among the largest garden centres in the GTA. With over 45,000 sq. ft. of covered greenhouses, we carry a large selection of indoor tropical plants as well as perennials and annuals during the spring/summer. We have been supplying plants and garden supplies to the public and wholesale businesses since 1970.
We are seeking motivated and enthusiastic individuals to join our dynamic retail team.
Duties
- Process cash, debit, and credit card transactions
- Restock shelves, organize merchandise, and check inventory levels
- Keep the sales floor, shelves and displays clean and organized
- Learn about plant species, plant products, prices, promotions and store policies
- Assist customer with returns, refunds and exchanges according to store policies
- Collaborate with colleagues and retail manager to maintain smooth store operations
Requirements
- Must be able to stand on feet for a long period of time
- Customer service experience
- Must be able to work at least a minimum 3 shifts per week (Shifts are 9-10hrs long in a hot and humid environment)
- Must be able to lift 30lbs
- Plant knowledge required
