JOB: Production Team Member

ABOUT THE JOB

We’re looking for a reliable, hands-on Production Team Member to help keep great coffee moving from our production space to our cafes and Guests.

In this role, you’ll support the day-to-day work behind our coffee - including packaging products, preparing and fulfilling orders, keeping the production space clean and organized, and assisting with deliveries.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

Production & Packaging

- Assist with coffee production, packaging, and labelling.
- Prepare products according to Empty Cup’s quality and presentation standards.
- Ensure products are accurately packaged and ready for distribution.
- Monitor supplies and communicate when inventory needs to be replenished.

Orders & Deliveries

- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for our cafes and other partners.
- Support regular deliveries to Empty Cup locations.
- Load and unload products safely and carefully.
- Help ensure orders are accurate and delivered on time.

Organization & Cleanliness

- Maintain a clean, protected, and organized production space.
- Clean and sanitize equipment, work surfaces, and storage areas.
- Follow all food-safety, workplace-safety, and production procedures.
- Assist with receiving, organizing, and rotating inventory.

Team Support

- Work collaboratively with the Production Team to meet daily priorities.
- Communicate clearly about inventory, orders, timelines, and potential issues.




- Jump in to support other production needs as they arise.
- Contribute to a positive, respectful, and dependable team environment.

WHAT YOU BRING

- A genuine passion for coffee and the Empty Cup brand.
- Reliability and a strong work ethic - we need someone the team can count on.
- Strong attention to detail and pride in producing high-quality work.
- The ability to stay organized and work efficiently in a hands-on environment.
- A willingness to learn, take direction, and support wherever needed.
- The ability to safely lift, carry, load, and unload products throughout a shift.
- The availability and ability to support deliveries as part of the role.
- Previous production, warehouse, food-service, or delivery experience is an asset, but not required.

Position: Part-Time Production Team Member

Location: 535 Panet Road, Winnipeg

Schedule: Hours will vary based on production and delivery needs

Availability: Flexibility to support production schedules and deliveries is required
