Executive Compass Flight Institute is a modern flight school with bases at Pitt Meadows Airport, B.C. and Springbank Airport, AB. The management staff at Compass Flight combined has over 20 years of experience in flight training units.
Job Description
Currently looking for Class 1/2 Flight Instructors for our base in Pitt Meadows, BC, for flight training programs.
Responsibilities
- Provide instruction to student pilots while overseeing in-flight training, including but not limited to procedures and techniques required to fly the aircraft and teach effective ground theory courses.
- All other responsibilities as per CARs or as instructed by the Chief Flight Instructor.
- Teach Single Engine, Multi-Engine, and Multi-IFR (Preferred but not required).
- Opportunity to take on additional supervision responsibilities, subject to demonstrated competency and approval.
Minimum Requirements
- Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
- Must currently hold a valid Canadian Class 1 Flight Instructor Rating
- Multi-Engine Rating and Group 1 IFR (Preferred but not required)
- Satisfactory Flight Test Record
- Must demonstrate satisfactory supervision capabilities before being assigned supervision responsibilities.
