Build Your Career With a Shop That Invests in Its People

NMT Auto Service is a family-owned and operated automotive repair facility in Oakville, Ontario. We are a premium dealer alternative specializing in complete automotive service and repair—from routine maintenance to complex diagnostics, drivability concerns, electrical repairs, engine work, and everything in between.

We are looking for a strong automotive apprentice who wants more than just a job. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, wants to become an exceptional technician, and is interested in building a long-term career with a company that is committed to its people.

If you're the type of person who wants to learn, takes direction well, thinks through problems, works hard, and wants to become better every day, we'd like to meet you.

Why NMT?

We have built one of the most capable independent automotive facilities in the area.

Our recently completed expansion brought us to 13 bays and more than 17,000 square feet of production space, equipped with modern, industry-leading equipment and the tools needed to properly diagnose and repair today's vehicles.

We work on all makes and models and handle everything from basic maintenance to complex mechanical and diagnostic repairs. We are also a trusted sublet facility for local dealerships, body shops, and other repair facilities.

Our high-volume environment means you'll be exposed to a wide variety of vehicles, repairs, and diagnostic challenges. More importantly, you'll have the opportunity to work alongside experienced technicians and continue developing your skills.

We service some of the largest fleets in the area and have built a loyal customer base that appreciates the quality of work we provide.

The Kind of Person We're Looking For

We're not interested in simply filling a position.

We're looking for someone who wants to build a career with us.

The right candidate will eventually become a technician who can diagnose problems, understand why something failed, and confidently repair it properly. We want to help you get there—but that requires someone who is willing to put in the effort, accept coaching, ask questions, and continuously improve.
