Responsibilities

- Provide high-quality hairstyling services, including cuts, colouring, blowouts, treatments, and styling tailored to individual client needs
- Deliver exceptional customer service through thorough consultations, personalized recommendations, and attention to detail
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and workstation organization
- Educate clients on proper hair care, styling techniques, and suitable products
- Recommend additional services and retail products when appropriate to enhance the client experience
- Manage appointments and client scheduling through the studio’s booking system
- Stay current with industry trends, techniques, and products through continued education and professional development
- Contribute to a positive, professional, and collaborative studio environment

Requirements

- Previous professional hairstyling experience strongly preferred




- Strong technical skills in cutting, colouring, and styling
- Experience with highlights, balayage, colour corrections, and chemical services is considered an asset
- A portfolio demonstrating high-quality work and versatility
- Excellent communication, consultation, and customer service skills
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to client satisfaction
- Professional, reliable, and team-oriented attitude
- Passion for continued learning and professional growth
- License an asset but not required

Compensation

Commission-based compensation with opportunities to earn up to 75% based on performance.
