Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Personal Support Worker (PSW) to join our team as an Independent Home Care Contractor. In this vital role, you will provide personalized, high-quality care to individuals in their own homes, promoting independence, comfort, and well-being. Responsibilities

- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Provide medication reminders and assistance to clients
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to clients’ dietary needs and assist with feeding when necessary
- Support clients with mobility, including heavy lifting and transfers, ensuring safety at all times
- Perform light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a tidy living environment
- Offer companionship and emotional support to reduce feelings of loneliness or isolation
- Monitor clients’ health status, report changes or concerns promptly to healthcare professionals or family members

Experience





- Prior experience working with seniors or individuals with disabilities in assisted living, nursing homes, or home care settings
- Knowledge of dementia care, hospice care, and managing patients with complex health needs
- Familiarity with patient care procedures, medication administration, and safety protocols
- Experience assisting with mobility challenges and performing heavy lifting safely
- Strong caregiving skills combined with excellent communication and empathy
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple client needs effectively

Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour
