Smartway Heavy Duty Repairs is a growing heavy-duty repair facility specializing in truck and trailer repairs, maintenance, diagnostics, and fleet services. We are looking for an experienced and motivated Red Seal Truck & Trailer Mechanic to join our team.

Responsibilities
Diagnose and repair heavy-duty trucks and trailers
Perform preventative maintenance and inspections
Repair brakes, suspension, air systems, electrical systems, and engines
Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues efficiently
Complete CVIP inspections (preferred)
Maintain clean and safe work environment
Work independently and with the shop team

Requirements
Red Seal Journeyman Heavy Equipment Technician or Truck & Transport Mechanic certification
Minimum 2 years of experience in heavy-duty truck/trailer repair




Solid diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
Experience with Detroit, Cummins, Volvo, and Paccar engines is an asset
Valid driver’s license (Class 1 or 3 is an asset)
Ability to work in a fast-paced setting
