Duties
Perform qualified massage therapy sessions utilizing various techniques to address clients’ specific concerns and health goals
Assess clients’ conditions through detailed consultations and medical terminology to develop customized treatment plans
Maintain accurate and detailed client records, including treatment notes and progress reports
Educate clients on post-treatment care, stretching exercises, and wellness practices to maximize benefits
Ensure a clean, protected, and comfortable treatment environment adhering to health regulations and hygiene standards
Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide clear explanations of procedures and outcomes
Stay current with industry best practices,
new techniques, and continuing education prospects to enhance service quality
Qualifications
Valid registration and licensing as a Massage Therapist (RMT) in accordance with local regulatory bodies
Strong knowledge of medical terminology relevant to massage therapy and client health assessments
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport and foster trust with clients
Exceptional communication skills for clear explanations and active listening during consultations
Previous experience in a clinical or spa setting is preferred but not required; training provided for new graduates
