Babin Dentistry is seeking a professional and organized Junior Dental Receptionist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for patients, managing front desk operations with efficiency and a friendly demeanor. This role requires excellent communication skills, familiarity with dental and medical terminology. The Junior Dental Receptionist will play a vital role in ensuring smooth daily operations and providing exceptional patient service.
Duties
Greet patients warmly and check them in for appointments
Manage multi-line phone systems to schedule appointments, answer inquiries, and confirm patient details
Maintain accurate patient records using electronic software such as Tracker
Verify insurance information and process billing and payments
Prepare patient charts and ensure all documentation is complete and up-to-date
Assist with appointment scheduling, rescheduling, and cancellations
Handle administrative tasks including data entry, filing, and managing correspondence
Coordinate with dental staff to ensure smooth workflow at the front desk
Maintain a clean and organized reception area to promote a welcoming environment
Requirements
Prior experience as a Dental Receptionist is highly preferred
Proficiency with dental practice management software such as Tracker is desirable, however not required
Experience with electronic medical records systems and office management tools
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Ability to handle multi-line phone systems efficiently in a quick-paced environment
Robust organizational skills with attention to detail
Skilled appearance and friendly demeanor to provide exceptional patient service
