SCS Refrigeration Inc is currently accepting applications for a full time Chief Refrigeration Class B Operator in the food processing industry. Required Qualifications
High School Diploma
Reliable Transportation with a good driving record
Excellent interpersonal, communication and documentation skills. Must be able to contribute in team environment
Self-directed, ability to make decisions, results oriented
Thorough knowledge of HACCP and GMP principals; previous experience working in the food industry is preferable
Mechanical aptitude.
Applicant must hold one of the following valid TSSA OE certificates (preference will be given to multiple license holders);
Refrigeration Operator B or Stationary Engineer 3rd class, Ammonia experience required.

Responsibilities
Secure operation of centralized ammonia refrigeration plant




Develop and continuously improve refrigeration plant SOPs
Coordinate with outside resources as necessary to ensure equipment reliability
Repair and maintain plant HVAC equipment, including belts and filters
Complete and maintain all company electronic documentation
Promotes, builds and maintains effective communication
Work dayshift
Must be able to work occasional overtime as required
Responsible for assuring all tools and equipment used are in valuable and safe working order
Work safely and responsibly. Participate in H&S; meetings
Assist Maintenance staff with other duties as assigned
