Job Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Support Workers to provide high-quality care and assistance to individuals in various settings, including assisted living facilities, nursing homes, and private homes. The ideal candidate will be committed to enhancing the well-being and independence of clients through personalized support. This role involves working closely with seniors, individuals with disabilities, and those requiring hospice or dementia care. Responsibilities
Assist clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
Provide medication administration as prescribed by healthcare professionals
Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs
Support patients with mobility challenges through safe lifting and transfer techniques
Engage clients in meaningful activities to promote mental and emotional well-being




Maintain a clean and safe workplace by assisting with light housekeeping tasks
Offer companionship and emotional support to reduce feelings of loneliness or isolation
Monitor health status and report any changes or concerns to healthcare teams or family members
Assist with specialized care needs including dementia, hospice, or other chronic conditions

Experience
Prior experience in assisted living, nursing home, or home care environments is preferred
Knowledge of patient care procedures and caregiving best practices
Experience working with individuals with disabilities or dementia is advantageous
Familiarity with medication administration and basic nursing tasks is desirable
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when required for client transfers or mobility assistance
Robust communication skills and compassionate nature are essential for success in this role

Job Type: Part-time
