Automotive Service Technician – 310S Certified
About the Opportunity We are seeking an experienced Automotive Service Technician (310S Certified) to join our professional dealership team. This role is ideal for a technician who thrives in a structured, fast‑paced shop setting and is motivated by flat‑rate performance. You will diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicles to manufacturer standards while delivering consistent, high‑quality workmanship.
Key Responsibilities
Perform accurate diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on a wide range of vehicles
Complete all work in accordance with OEM specifications, warranty requirements, and dealership policies
Document findings, recommendations, and completed repairs clearly and thoroughly
Maintain productivity expectations under the flat‑rate (SFT/STST) pay structure
Communicate effectively with Service Advisors and team members to support workflow
Follow all safety procedures, including proper use of tools, equipment, and PPE
Participate in ongoing manufacturer training and skill development
Contribute to a clean, organized, and professional shop environment
Qualifications
310S Automotive Service Technician Certification – required
Minimum 2–3 years dealership or equivalent repair facility experience
Robust diagnostic capability with up-to-date vehicle systems, including electrical and drivability
Ability to work efficiently within a flat‑rate pay system
Valid Ontario G driver’s licence with a clean abstract
Strong attention to detail, time management, and commitment to quality
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team setting
