Overview

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Construction Labourer to join our construction team. The successful candidate will assist with general construction, renovation, restoration, demolition, material handling, and site cleanup.

This is a hands-on position suited for someone who is physically fit, comfortable working with hand and power tools, and willing to learn current construction skills while following all workplace safety procedures.

Responsibilities
Assist with preparing and maintaining construction sites.
Transparent debris and assist with setting up safety barriers and work areas.
Load, unload, move, and organize construction materials.
Use hand tools and power tools safely and properly.
Assist with framing, drywall, flooring, tile work, painting, and other construction tasks.
Support skilled tradespeople with installation, caulking, drywall finishing, plumbing, and other assigned tasks.
Assist with demolition and site cleanup.
Follow instructions from supervisors and experienced tradespeople.
Read and follow blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings when required.
Operate construction equipment safely, where trained and authorized.
Follow all workplace health and safety procedures and wear required PPE.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.





Qualifications & Requirements
Previous construction or general labour experience is highly preferred.
Experience using hand and power tools is an asset.
Ability to understand and follow basic blueprints, schematics, or technical drawings is an asset.
Basic knowledge of construction site safety procedures.
Hard hat and safety shoes required.
Physically fit and able to lift and move heavy materials.
Comfortable standing, walking, bending, and performing physical work for extended periods.
Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
Willingness to learn new construction skills and assist with different types of projects.
Experience in welding, plumbing, flooring, drywall, carpentry, or restoration is an asset.
