About the Position

Summit Insulation is seeking an experienced Blow-In Insulation Operations Manager to oversee and grow our attic insulation operations in the greater Edmonton area.

We are looking for a solid leader with residential construction experience who can manage installation crews, coordinate schedules, maintain quality standards, and ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and profitably. The role also involves building customer relationships and identifying opportunities for business growth.

Previous insulation experience is an asset, but strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills are our priority.

This is a hands-on management position based out of our south Edmonton office, with regular jobsite visits.

Key Responsibilities
Hire, train, supervise, and support insulation installation crews.
Schedule and coordinate projects to maximize efficiency and productivity.
Monitor workmanship, safety, quality, labour costs, and profitability.
Build and maintain solid relationships with builders, construction supervisors, contractors, and homeowners.
Identify opportunities to grow the business through customer relationships, referrals, and new industry connections.




Address customer concerns and ensure timely resolutions.
Visit occupied homes to assess insulation requirements and prepare quotes for repairs and additional work.
Manage inventory, materials, and vehicle and equipment maintenance.
Assist with installations, equipment troubleshooting, and attic inspections when required.

Qualifications
Experience in residential construction, preferably in a supervisory or management role.
Solid leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple crews and projects independently.
Excellent customer service skills and an interest in developing current business opportunities.
Experience in blown-in insulation is an asset but not required.
Comfortable using computers, email, and mobile devices.
Valid driver's licence with a clean driver's abstract and at least three years of driving experience.
Willingness to perform occasional physical work, including accessing residential attics.
