We are seeking a dependable Linoleum Flooring Installer to join our team. This role is responsible for preparing floor surfaces and installing linoleum and other resilient flooring in a construction and modular manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare subfloors by cleaning, levelling, patching, and checking for surface defects.
Measure, cut, fit, and install flooring according to drawings and specifications.
Apply adhesives and roll flooring to ensure proper bonding and a smooth finish.
Complete seams, edges, transitions, and coving as required.
Inspect completed work and repair installation defects.
Coordinate with other trades to meet production schedules.
Maintain tools and a clean, protected work area.
Qualifications
Previous experience installing linoleum, sheet vinyl, or other resilient flooring.
Ability to read measurements, drawings,
and installation instructions.
Strong attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship.
Ability to safely use flooring tools and equipment.
Ability to perform physical work, including kneeling, bending, and lifting materials.
Reliable attendance and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Experience in modular construction or manufacturing is an asset.
Pay: $25.00-$28.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 – 50.0 per week
