The position of Medical Radiation Technologist is responsible for all X-ray examinations as requested by the referring physician to produce high quality studies for interpretation.
Skills & Qualifications Required:
Registration with the College of Medical Radiation Technologists of Ontario (CMRTO) in good standing
Experience with Velox RIS and PACS preferred
Sound knowledge of general radiography and special procedures as required
Sound knowledge of radiation protection and the secure effective operation of the X-ray equipment
Ability to provide superior patient care and consciousness of the patient’s safety and welfare
Professional demeanor and superior organizational skills
Ability to work independently, under pressure and to complete the work efficiently in the allotted time
Solid interpersonal verbal and non-verbal communication skills (Excellent communication skills in English. Ability to communicate in additional language(s) preferred)
