Job Overview

Real Eyes Optometry is a full scope optometry office and optical that is expanding and looking for a recent staff member to join the team. We are currently looking for a part-time candidate. This position can potentially become a full-time position if desired. The office is looking for a motivated and driven team player that is flexible and able to work well with other staff members and patients.

Tasks include: Front desk/reception duties, greeting and checking in patients, billing insurance providers/MSP, answering phone calls and emails, scheduling appointments for patients, optometric pretesting, optical sales including selling eyeglasses, contact lenses & sunglasses, and overall professionalism in a medical office setting.

The applicant should be reliable, detailed-orientated, organized and must be able to multitask efficiently.

One year of experience in an office setting is an asset but not required.

Speaking Mandarin/Cantonese is an asset but not required.

Optical and sales experience are an asset but not required.





Basic computer knowledge (Microsoft Office) and a moderate words/minute rate is required.

The applicant is expected to work mall hours but not Sunday. Employee benefits will be available after the probation period is complete. Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16.0 – 32.0 per week
