Job Type: Full time, Onsite
REQUIREMENTS AND CANDIDATE ASSETS
The ideal candidate will:
A minimum of 3 years' experience performing bookkeeping for law firms;
Proficiency using legal accounting software
Experience in reconciling General bank accounts
Experience in preparing journal entries
RESPONSIBILITIES
Reconciling General Bank accounts;
Posting Accounts Payable;
Coordinate with external vendors for any AP questions
Posting expense reimbursements;
Posting firm receipts in Xero;
Reconcile corporate credit cards;
Reissuing stale-dated cheques;
File and remit GST
Respond to the Controller for any questions related to Xero entries
Such further and other accounting and bookkeeping duties and responsibilities as may be assigned from time to time.
