About the Position
JC Family Dental Clinic is seeking a Registered Dental Assistant to join our team on a part-time basis with a consistent three-day weekly schedule.
Serving Calgary since 2013, our established general dental practice provides comprehensive dental care and hygiene services in a welcoming, patient-focused environment. We offer a supportive team, clinic-specific training, and a convenient Centre Street location with free parking and access to Calgary Transit routes 3 and 301.
Work Schedule
Availability on all three days is required:
Tuesday: 9:10 a.m.–5:30 p.m.
Wednesday: 9:10 a.m.–3:30 p.m.
Thursday: 9:10 a.m.–5:30 p.m.
Key Responsibilities
Provide chairside assistance during dental procedures.
Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials.
Clean, disinfect, and sterilize instruments following infection prevention and control protocols.
Complete treatment room turnover between patients.
Communicate clearly with patients and support a comfortable patient experience.
Assist with appointment coordination and front-desk duties as needed.
Maintain an organized clinical workplace and work collaboratively with the dental team.
Qualifications
Must be registered with the College of Alberta Dental Assistants (CADA) and hold a valid practice permit.
Must be able to speak both English and Mandarin and communicate effectively with patients in both languages.
Availability to work the Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday schedule listed above.
Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills.
Attention to detail and a skilled, patient-focused approach.
Previous dental assisting experience is preferred. Clinic-specific training and onboarding will be provided.

Hourly pay: $25–$30, depending on experience and qualifications.
