Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Produce Clerk to join our grocery team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for fresh produce, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to maintain a clean and organized department. As a Produce Clerk, you will be responsible for ensuring the freshness and presentation of produce, assisting customers, and supporting overall store operations.

Duties
Stock, organize, and display fresh produce items according to merchandising standards
Assist customers with inquiries about produce selections and provide excellent customer service
Maintain cleanliness of the produce department, including cleaning displays and equipment
Rotate stock to ensure freshness and proper inventory levels
Ensure proper labeling and pricing of produce items




Support maintenance tasks to keep the department tidy and safe
Collaborate with team members to meet department goals and ensure smooth daily operations

Experience
Prior retail sales or grocery store experience is preferred but not required
Experience with merchandising, stocking, or inventory management is a plus
Customer service experience is highly valued to enhance shopper satisfaction
Strong communication skills are essential for teamwork and customer interactions
Organizational skills are necessary to manage stock rotation and maintain an attractive display
Ability to perform cleaning and maintenance tasks efficiently in a fast-paced workplace
Able to handle a physically demanding job
Must be able to work all evenings and weekends

Pay: $18.50-$20.00 per hour
