Responsibilities
Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS system, ensuring clear communication with kitchen staff
Handle cash transactions efficiently, including processing payments, giving change, and balancing registers at shift end
Assist in food preparation and food handling tasks to maintain quality standards and food safety compliance
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of dining areas, counters, and service stations in accordance with health regulations
Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve guests promptly while maintaining high service standards
Skills
Proficiency with POS systems, especially Micros POS or similar platforms
Previous food service or restaurant experience is highly preferred
Robust customer service skills with a positive attitude and excellent communication abilities
Knowledge of food safety practices and proper sanitation procedures
Ability to handle cash accurately and perform basic math calculations quickly
Experience in food handling, food preparation, and maintaining hygiene standards in a food industry setting
Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks during peak hours
