Duties
Prepare fresh ingredients by washing, chopping, measuring, and organizing them for cooking and plating
Assist with basic cooking tasks such as assembling salads, sandwiches, and side dishes under supervision
Follow food safety protocols to ensure proper handling, storage, and sanitation of all ingredients and equipment
Support the kitchen team during meal preparation by stocking stations and maintaining cleanliness throughout the workspace
Help with food portioning and plating to ensure consistency and presentation standards are met
Maintain organized workstations to promote efficiency and safety during busy service hours
Collaborate with chefs and kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and smooth kitchen operations
Assist with dishwashing duties
Experience
Previous food service experience in a restaurant or food industry setting is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is key
Familiarity with serving, food preparation, cooking techniques, and food handling practices
Knowledge of food safety standards and proper sanitation procedures
Experience working in a fast-paced workplace that demands attention to detail and teamwork
