We are a growing HVAC company seeking an experienced Lead HVAC Installer or established HVAC installation subcontractor for ongoing residential installation projects.
We are looking for experienced professionals who can take responsibility for complete installations, maintain a high standard of workmanship, and represent our company professionally at customer sites.
Scope of Work
Projects may include:
Cold-climate heat pumps
Furnaces
Hybrid / dual-fuel heating systems
Residential HVAC equipment replacements and upgrades
Responsibilities may include:
Reviewing job scope and installation requirements before starting work
Completing equipment change-outs and recent installations
Refrigerant piping, condensate drainage, duct transitions, controls, and related installation work
Pressure testing, evacuation, charging, commissioning, and system start-up
Identifying and resolving installation issues
Maintaining clean and qualified job sites
Communicating professionally with homeowners
Completing required installation documentation, photographs, and commissioning records
Ensuring work complies with applicable codes, manufacturer requirements, and TSSA requirements
Experience
Minimum 5 years of residential HVAC installation experience preferred
Demonstrated ability to complete installations independently
Strong experience with heat pumps, furnaces, hybrid systems, and associated controls
Solid troubleshooting and commissioning skills
Ability to maintain consistent installation quality without close supervision
Licensing & Qualifications
Depending on the work being performed, applicants should hold the appropriate licences, certificates, and registrations, which may include:
G2 Gas Technician certificate or higher
313D or 313A Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Systems Mechanic licence
ODP certification
Applicable TSSA contractor registration
Commercial liability insurance
Valid driver's licence and appropriate transportation
Experience with cold-climate heat pumps and dual-fuel systems is an asset.
