We are currently seeking a Level 2 Dental Assistant to join our team at Westend Dental Clinic. We’re looking for a reliable, detail-oriented qualified who is passionate about providing exceptional dental care, works well in a team-oriented environment, and thrives in a quick-paced clinic with a steady patient flow.
Responsibilities:
Assist dentists during all dental procedures, including dental surgery, implant placement and restoration and endodontic treatment.
Prepare treatment rooms with necessary instruments and supplies, ensuring sterilization and cleanliness.
Manage patient records and ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
Provide patient education on oral health care and post-treatment instructions.
Communicating warmly and effectively with patients to ensure a comfortable experience.
Support front desk activities when needed, including scheduling appointments and managing patient flow as a dental receptionist
Ensure compliance with safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work setting.
Comfortable using Abeldent for charting of patients is an asset.
Qualifications:
Level 2 Dental Assistant certification (required).
Licensed to practice as a Dental Assistant in Ontario (required).
Previous experience as a Dental Assistant (required).
HARP Certification & CPR certifications(required).
Pay: $20.00-$28.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20.0 – 40.0 per week
