Duties
Operate automated production and packaging machines.
Set up and calibrate production machinery, equipment, and other manufacturing tools to optimize performance
Read and interpret detailed blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD (Computer-Aided Design) files to ensure accurate machining and assembly
Use hand tools, and basic math skills to measure parts accurately and verify quality during production
Perform routine inspections of machinery to troubleshoot issues and maintain smooth operation
Conduct quality control checks throughout the manufacturing process to meet strict standards and specifications
Assist with packaging finished products and prepare them for shipment while adhering to safety protocols in warehouse environments
Experience
Proven experience operating production machines or similar equipment in a manufacturing setting
Knowledge of blueprint reading, mechanical principles, and machining processes
Hands-on experience with machine operations, assembly work, and the use of hand tools in a production environment
Warehouse experience including forklift operation is an asset
Solid attention to detail with good basic math skills for exact measurements and quality assurance
