Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable First Aid Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and comprehensive first aid training sessions to diverse audiences, including college and university students, and community members. This role requires excellent communication skills, classroom experience, and a passion for teaching life-saving skills. The First Aid Instructor will play a vital role in promoting safety awareness and empowering individuals with essential emergency response techniques.

Responsibilities
Conduct engaging first aid training sessions tailored to different age groups and skill levels
Follow lesson plans and instructional materials aligned with current first aid standards
Assess participants’ understanding through practical demonstrations and assessments
Maintain a protected, inclusive, and positive learning environment during all sessions
Adapt teaching methods to accommodate individuals with disabilities or special needs
Utilize Microsoft Office and other computer tools to run PowerPoint presentations
Keep accurate records of participant attendance, progress, and certification status




Stay updated on the latest first aid protocols and instructional techniques through ongoing career development

Requirements
Proven experience in teaching individuals with disabilities
Solid classroom management skills and organizational abilities
Excellent communication skills in English
Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and computer skills for instructional purposes
Ability to effectively manage time during training sessions and coordinate schedules
Prior experience in classroom instruction or teaching first aid is desirable and relevant certifications are required
Demonstrated ability to work well with diverse populations in educational settings
