Requirements:
Full driver’s license and reliable vehicle required
Robust interpersonal, communication, and listening skills required
Willingness to engage in the community required
Support work experience, including knowledge of supporting challenging behaviors, will be considered an asset
Sense of humor will be an asset
Clear criminal record check with vulnerable sector search required
Adult abuse registry check required
CPR/emergency first aid certificate or willingness to obtain upon hire required
NVCI (Non-Violent Crisis Intervention)

Responsibilities:
Supporting the individual in his day to day life, including completing tasks such as grocery shopping, cooking, cleaning, and administering medication
Developing a robust relationship with the individual, getting to know his interests and needs
Helping the individual participate in the community and connect with others
Building and leading a team of staff to support the individual

Pay: $19.00 per hour
