We are seeking a reliable and experienced Commercial Tire Installer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, rotating, and maintaining commercial truck and heavy-duty vehicle tires while ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards.
Responsibilities
Install, remove, repair, and balance commercial truck and heavy-duty vehicle tires.
Inspect tires for wear, damage, and safety concerns.
Repair punctures and replace damaged tires as required.
Perform tire rotations and preventive maintenance.
Operate tire mounting, balancing, and service equipment safely and efficiently.
Maintain accurate service records and complete work orders.
Provide skilled customer service and explain repair recommendations when required.
Follow all workplace health and safety policies and procedures.
Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe.
Assist with general shop maintenance and other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Valid Ontario Wheel Installer Certificate (Mandatory).
Minimum 1 2 years of experience as a Commercial Tire Installer or Tire Technician.
Experience servicing commercial trucks, trailers, and heavy-duty vehicles.
Solid knowledge of commercial tire installation, repair, balancing, and maintenance.
Ability to lift heavy tires and equipment (up to 50 lbs or more).
Robust mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Reliable, punctual, and committed to workplace safety.
Preferred Qualifications
Valid Ontario G Driver's Licence (DZ or AZ Licence is an asset).
Experience with roadside tire service is an asset.
Forklift certification is an asset.
Knowledge of commercial fleet maintenance is an asset.
