Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Bridge Saw Operator for Stone to join our energetic construction and restoration team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating specialized bridge saw equipment to cut and shape stone materials with precision and efficiency. Your expertise will contribute to high-quality masonry projects, renovations, and restoration efforts, ensuring that each piece meets exact specifications. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with heavy machinery in a fast-paced environment while honing your skills in stone cutting, blueprint reading, and construction techniques.

Responsibilities
Operate bridge saw machinery safely and accurately to cut stone slabs according to detailed schematics and blueprints
Measure and mark materials precisely, ensuring cuts align with project specifications
Maintain and troubleshoot power tools, hand tools, and heavy equipment used in stone cutting operations
Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to determine cutting patterns and dimensions
Assist with masonry, renovation, and restoration tasks by preparing stone materials for installation or finishing
Ensure all safety protocols are followed during operation, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE)




Conduct routine maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity

Qualifications
Proven experience operating bridge saws or similar heavy machinery in a construction or stone fabrication workplace
Solid knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and schematics related to stone cutting and masonry work
Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematic interpretation, and technical drawings
Experience with construction projects involving renovation or restoration work is highly desirable
Ability to work with precision using masonry techniques such as caulking and shaping stones as needed
Basic understanding of heavy equipment operation beyond the bridge saw is a plus
Prior experience in the use of construction safety standards and protocols

Pay: $28.00-$38.00 per hour
